DEMING MUNICIPAL COURT LAUNCHES AMNESTY PROGRAM TO ADDRESS OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

DEMING – In an effort to provide relief to individuals burdened by outstanding Failure to Pay warrants (FTP Bench Warrants), the Deming Municipal Court has announced the launch of an Amnesty Program, slated to run from May 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024.

Under this program, individuals with unresolved warrants are encouraged to visit the court and engage with Judge Davalos to discuss payment options without facing incarceration. The initiative aims to facilitate a constructive dialogue between the court and community members, fostering a pathway towards resolving legal obligations without the fear of punitive measures.

Walk-in hours to meet with Judge Davalos have been scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays, from 8:00 AM to 11:45 AM, and 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. This structured timeframe ensures accessibility for participants seeking assistance within the stipulated program period.
