You’re tucked in on the couch, ready to binge your fave show when you realize you need a salty snack. But cradled by the soft cushions, you can’t fathom removing yourself from your sofa’s embrace to trudge to the store. The solution? Turn your couch into your carriage.
At least that’s what we imagine led to a recent traffic stop by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Officers from the North Carolina police department spotted two couch potatoes scooting down the street atop the bulky piece of furniture, which was precariously perched on top of two Lime electric scooters. The CMPD posted to social media a photo of an officer standing next to the cream-colored love seat balanced on the scooters, though the couch-scooting inventors were not pictured.
Whether the men were testing out a new whip or just determined to save their spots, we may never know. Either way, sit happens.
