DEMING – Deming Pride is inviting the community to step back in time this weekend with a lively afternoon of music, entertainment and fundraising designed to support local students and senior citizens.
Organizers announced that the BACK TO THE 80’s Show of Illusions will take place Sunday at the La Fonda Mexican Restaurant banquet room in Deming. The event will run from noon to 3 p.m. and will benefit the High School Senior Scholarship Drive and the Senior Citizens Christmas Fund.
The show will be hosted by Deming Pride’s Mr. Deming 2026, AJ Bump, and will feature a cast of performers from Las Cruces bringing a nostalgic lineup of favorite hits from the 1980s. Organizers say the event is intended to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while raising money for programs that support local youth and seniors.
Admission to the show is $5 per person. Attendees will also have the option to enjoy a separate buffet provided by La Fonda Mexican Restaurant, known locally for its popular Mexican cuisine.
Deming Pride representatives encourage residents to attend, bring friends and family, and take part in an afternoon of entertainment while contributing to causes that directly benefit members of the community.
