DEMING – The Deming Senior Center is reaching out to the community in search of individuals who are interested in helping guide and strengthen services for local seniors.
As one of Deming’s long-standing community institutions, the Senior Center provides a wide range of programs and resources for older residents, and officials say new perspectives and professional experience are needed to continue building a positive and engaging environment.
The center is seeking people with backgrounds in event planning, health services, financial matters, legal affairs, strategic planning, human resources, and communications. Those skills are viewed as key to supporting programming, operations, and long-term planning for the facility.
Interested individuals are invited to tour the Deming Senior Center and submit a letter of interest by email to [email protected].
Center leaders say community involvement plays an important role in maintaining strong services for seniors and ensuring the facility remains responsive to changing needs.
