Local Arrest & Crime Report – Tuesday September 16th 2025

DEMING – Local law enforcement reported several arrests and incidents across the community on Tuesday.

Police arrested Brian Orosco, 22, of Deming on multiple felony charges. Orosco faces counts of breaking and entering, tampering with evidence, and assault upon a household member. He was taken into custody without further incident, authorities said.

In addition to the arrest, officers investigated several property crimes. A burglary was reported in the 400 block of South Silver Street where a 2005 white GMC Yukon was broken into. Police are continuing to review the case and evidence collected. In another case, a residence in the 300 block of Myrtle Street was targeted. According to investigators, someone forced entry through a bedroom window, causing about $200 in damage. No items were reported stolen.

Emergency services also responded to a medical call on the 2900 block of East Pine Street. A 25-year-old local woman overdosed on fentanyl and was transported to the emergency room by EMS for treatment.
