DEMING – Deming Public Schools is working with the City of Deming as upgrades are made to the natural gas system serving the west side of the city.
District officials said three school sites are connected to that service line. As a precaution, inspections have been conducted and will continue until the city receives new equipment and completes the upgrades.
The district emphasized that no gas leaks have been detected and no issues of concern have been found at this time.
