DEMING – Several individuals were taken into custody on recent charges as officers responded to incidents throughout the community, according to the daily media report.
Christina Cordova-Bravo Ortiz, age 30, was arrested on recent charges of interference with officers and trespass. Tiffany Harris, age 34, was arrested on a recent charge of criminal trespass. Kimberlee Porter, age 49, was arrested on a recent municipal court warrant for failure to pay, with a listed cash bond of $310.
Brian Mendoza, age 24, was arrested on recent charges of disorderly conduct and interference with officers. Chazell Smith, age 41, was arrested on recent charges of abandonment of a child, false imprisonment, and possession of a controlled substance. Trey Davis, age 32, was arrested on recent charges of false imprisonment, two counts of battery, and criminal trespass.
In a separate incident, officials reported that a six-year-old child was bitten by a dog at a residence in the 700 block of South Nickel Street. The child received medical attention at a local emergency room, and the dog involved in the incident was placed under quarantine by Animal Control.
