DEMING – Keep Luna County Beautiful recently marked another successful community cleanup effort, with 43 volunteers coming together to collect 54 bags of litter and remove an estimated 1,200 pounds of trash from local roadways and public areas.
The strong turnout reflected the community’s continued commitment to preserving Luna County’s natural beauty and maintaining clean, welcoming neighborhoods for residents and visitors alike. Organizers credited the success to dedicated volunteers who gave their time and energy to improving the local environment.
The next community cleanup is scheduled for March 7 at 8 a.m. and will begin at the Luna County Courthouse. Community members are encouraged to participate and help build on the momentum of recent cleanup efforts.
