DEMING – The Luna County Road Department, in coordination with the City of Deming, has announced a temporary road closure affecting the 700 block of South Pearl Street.
The closure is in effect today, Monday, February 9, until 5:00 p.m. Crews are working to remove a disabled vehicle that requires the use of heavy equipment. The roadway will remain closed until all materials have been safely removed and the area is secured.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, plan alternate routes, and use caution when traveling nearby. Officials thank the public for their patience and cooperation as crews work to maintain the safety of local roads and the traveling public.
