DEMING – Luna County officials are notifying residents that a series of office relocations across county departments has now been completed, marking the end of a transition aimed at improving access to services and consolidating operations. According to a public service announcement issued by the county, several departments have officially moved to new locations, and residents are encouraged to take note of where to go for planning, health-related programs, and administrative services. County leaders say the changes are intended to make it easier for the public to find offices and connect with staff as needed.
The announcement states that Planning and Zoning is now located at the Luna County Plaza at 115 South Cody Road, while the DWI and Misdemeanor Program and Health Council has moved to the same complex at 125 South Cody Road. The Human Resources and Business Office has relocated to the basement level of the County Courthouse at 700 South Silver Avenue. County officials thanked the public for their patience during the transition period and emphasized that staff members are now fully set up and ready to assist residents at the new sites.
The notice was posted by the County Manager’s Office and County Clerk’s Office and distributed to local media, county commissioners, elected officials, and department directors to ensure the information reaches the community. Residents with questions about services or office locations are encouraged to contact Luna County directly through the main county offices for additional guidance.
