DEMING — Keep Luna County Beautiful is reaching out to youth organizations across the area with a new call for participation in its community cleanup and environmental programs for the current grant year. A newly released poster and social media announcement invites youth groups to submit formal Letters of Interest so they can take part in funded cleanup projects and other beautification efforts throughout Luna County.

According to the announcement, Keep Luna County Beautiful is now accepting Letters of Interest from youth groups that would like to participate in community cleanups and KLCB programs during this grant cycle. Groups that already have a Letter of Interest on file are simply asked to notify the organization when they would like to participate, while new groups are encouraged to submit their information to be considered for funding and scheduling.

The poster explains that Letters of Interest should be sent by email to [email protected] and should include a short description of how the requested funds will be used, the name of the youth group, and whether the group has previously worked with Keep Luna County Beautiful. These letters help the organization determine how to allocate resources and coordinate projects that support local environmental cleanup, education, and community pride.

Images featured on the poster show youth volunteers wearing bright safety vests while working together outdoors, reinforcing the focus on hands-on involvement, teamwork, and stewardship of the local landscape. Keep Luna County Beautiful says these projects not only improve the physical appearance of neighborhoods and open spaces, but also give young people the opportunity to take an active role in caring for their community.

Youth organizations interested in participating are encouraged to submit their Letters of Interest as soon as possible so they can be included in planning for upcoming cleanup events and grant-funded activities throughout the year.
