Rosa Tapia, 86, a lifelong resident of Deming, NM went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at her residence with her family by her side.
Rosa was born on April 14, 1939 to Juan Pacheco and Pilar Solis.
She is survived by three sons, Tony Tapia and his wife Olga of Deming, NM; Albert Tapia and his wife Maria of Gilbert, AZ and Gilbert Tapia of Laveen, AZ; one daughter, Sally Ann Natalino and her husband Anthony of Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, Johnny Pacheco and his wife Maria of Deming, NM; Freddie Pacheco and his wife Natalia of Deming, NM and Robert Pacheco and his wife Linda of Deming, NM; two sisters, Soledad Pallares of AZ and Belen Pacheco of Deming, NM; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Gilberto Tapia; one daughter, Mary Lou Tapia; four brothers, Eddie, Sammy, Steve and Richard Pacheco and two sister, Dolores Pacheco and Margaret Amaya.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10-11:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Funeral mass will then begin at 12noon at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Tony Basso officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Tony Tapia Jr., Ezell Tapia, Adam Tapia, Daniel Tapia, Valeria Tapia and David Amaya.
Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Isaiah Tapia and Brianna Tapia.
