DEMING – The Luna County Treasurer’s Office is reminding property owners that the first half, or full amount, of 2025 property tax payments is due no later than December 10, 2025. Payments received by that date will not incur penalties or interest.
Residents have multiple options for submitting their taxes. Payments may be made online through the Luna County website, by phone at 575-255-1992, by using the drop box located on the south side of the Luna County Courthouse, or in person at the Treasurer’s Office. Mailed payments must include the payment coupon and check and will be accepted according to the postmark date.
Debit and credit card payments carry a small processing fee of 2.45 percent or a minimum of $2. Taxpayers may also choose to receive future bills electronically by using the authorization code provided on their 2025 tax statement.
Property owners can review their tax balances at the county’s online portal. Anyone with questions may call the Luna County Treasurer’s Office at 575-546-0401.
