DEMING – Luna County Commissioner Christie Ann Harvey, District 3, will hold an open Town Hall Meeting on December 4 at the Luna County Commission Chambers. The event invites all residents to take part in an evening of updates, discussion, and community engagement. Commissioner Harvey and several community partners will offer briefings on major initiatives shaping the county’s direction.
Topics will include economic development efforts, border-region infrastructure activities, new and expanding technical course offerings at the Mimbres Valley Learning Center, and an update on broadband expansion through the Student Connect Buildout, presented by Aaron Casillas of the Mycelia Foundation. Residents will also have an opportunity to share input, ask questions, and participate in an open community Q&A session.
All Luna County residents are encouraged to attend. All persons mentioned are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
